Oh pure sweetness

my eyes and heart can barely behold

tis Joy pure and simple

my sweet pea to love and hold

I can barely stand it, to be so far away

It's 1 1/2 hour drive, I can still make it for a day

But I miss those moments, of just a quick

runover to see, to hold and to sniff the sweetness of my newest granddaughter!

Now I know what a wonderful blessing it was to have Alexa here when she was a newborn. I cherish that time so much. I used to call her My Sweet Alexa.....and she still is.

They are both so precious, and obviously are going to be best of friends.

Happy Birthday

Today is my daughter Kristin's Birthday.

She was born on Mother's Day and she was 3 weeks overdue.

So she was a wonderful Mother's Day present.

How fast the time has flown by from

my little girl to a wonderful, grown up woman.
