The thing I crave and need is Time. Time to be me to do all the organizing, sewing, quilting, visiting family & friends, volunteering, and just all the simple wonderful things that make life special. Last evening I sat outside playing with <div>Kittens, trying to get them to trust me enough so I can pet them. Simple pleasures, watching the brilliant Sunset last evening. Time. 😄</div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-33098144525224378202020-10-06T07:41:00.001-05:002020-10-06T07:42:42.402-05:00Covid year 2020Today in this worlds craziness I crave peace Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-23709779794449871862020-02-11T08:03:00.001-06:002020-02-11T08:03:21.132-06:00Pictures won't postI guess I need some practice Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-17007566547683938782020-02-11T07:56:00.001-06:002020-02-11T07:56:21.555-06:00TryingTrying to get my blog to publish Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-90371288715729797202018-08-28T21:28:00.001-05:002018-08-28T21:28:37.432-05:00I'm Still Here<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEbtzVo4gthlE6G3_SpSJMV97EOILjihickE4-_r-t3u3HZb9mvG3evc9DXvgVUTCEsgHpWIho2j4zvbVw7ywSGw6jYgTTEGW5Zk5lmCvCTaRXS5ddO3DalxxJYSLbMH5Idx0nBObXQr4y/s640/blogger-image--2011957198.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEbtzVo4gthlE6G3_SpSJMV97EOILjihickE4-_r-t3u3HZb9mvG3evc9DXvgVUTCEsgHpWIho2j4zvbVw7ywSGw6jYgTTEGW5Zk5lmCvCTaRXS5ddO3DalxxJYSLbMH5Idx0nBObXQr4y/s640/blogger-image--2011957198.jpg"></a></div>It's been a very long time since I posted. Alexa, Kristin , Amber, Kaiya and I spent Saturday afternoon taking the last of Alexa's Senior pics. What a fun, and interesting afternoon. Kristin has a great eye for shooting sites. Kaiya joined us and had a few poses of her own. Favorite moments of the afternoon, finding that "right" spot for getting some great photos. ... Kaiya seeing police officers on horseback...her mouth literally wide open. Kaiya seeing the young women with bright purple hair and saying somewhat loudly to Amber.." Mommy, look at the girl with the purple hair"<div>Early supper at Spagehhti Works. The best...Alexas's great smile and knowing the gals accomplished their goal..Senior pics . Done. Well, except for the editing. Lol. I guess there is always something more to do. <br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq9Jh2Pr2A_gkK0OdHa8P6SxNTR7fisg8lH02Ucoccrlu1udUR2-akFbECvH5RPAMny8ClLdm8t_8eh7rRqSSnB6atSHbC_lZIWBMB68GZ2c-WbJ-O2OpH63_-D6L0P4ifMAd45Lpqfayu/s640/blogger-image-2003382140.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq9Jh2Pr2A_gkK0OdHa8P6SxNTR7fisg8lH02Ucoccrlu1udUR2-akFbECvH5RPAMny8ClLdm8t_8eh7rRqSSnB6atSHbC_lZIWBMB68GZ2c-WbJ-O2OpH63_-D6L0P4ifMAd45Lpqfayu/s640/blogger-image-2003382140.jpg"></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwL1MgYHyekSfHGCbtCWAmMI_UKrSb8j8eaSXNxwSeCNK0LZij1z2VwGe9JhDKYSe80HemGn7wHjSYJjfcNPsNKNGGok6VWAqqU34uZJv7pylK_1hG_ev3dcoCKIALyux8533yu6uhQkMu/s640/blogger-image--2013758623.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwL1MgYHyekSfHGCbtCWAmMI_UKrSb8j8eaSXNxwSeCNK0LZij1z2VwGe9JhDKYSe80HemGn7wHjSYJjfcNPsNKNGGok6VWAqqU34uZJv7pylK_1hG_ev3dcoCKIALyux8533yu6uhQkMu/s640/blogger-image--2013758623.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA4ySSxmsIsqEZYVB_DD8hGjkmaFWYwKo9JQar8hkZkR3ddQFDrcmu4IJSbJkEQAGqCrXdT58Nd6skIjg6IWqaozfv9BEtWwT0v7ydLdDbn-C7xO2o0eu-8alxWQt3wi9I-1IOOfwcRWps/s640/blogger-image-829265112.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA4ySSxmsIsqEZYVB_DD8hGjkmaFWYwKo9JQar8hkZkR3ddQFDrcmu4IJSbJkEQAGqCrXdT58Nd6skIjg6IWqaozfv9BEtWwT0v7ydLdDbn-C7xO2o0eu-8alxWQt3wi9I-1IOOfwcRWps/s640/blogger-image-829265112.jpg"></a></div><br></div><br></div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-81244461928461258712013-10-13T15:29:00.001-05:002013-10-13T15:29:03.301-05:00Kerplunk!We spent the afternoon in the Old Market area on Saturday. Kaiya was along, and she was basically our entertainment for the afternoon. For a treat at the end of the afternoon Amber wanted to give Kaiya a treat, so we decided to go down the big slide in the downtown area. At the top of the slide Kaiya announced she wanted to go down by herself instead of with Amber. So...swoosh, and KerPlunk. She landed at the bottom of the slide and not a very happy little girl. Just like riding a horse, or bicycle, when you go down its best to get right back on. This time Amber and Kaiya went together and it was a lot more enjoyable experience. Needless to say, Amber has been taking the heat for the KerPlunk from Kaiya, and teasing from all of us! Memorable. Yes. <br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTIBj1Fa0FW9tEuvxnk5pfvoyvcpCQVPL6hrwWk71GFt94JupjYl9q7MqnCrgAeh3PkrVkMREWMJ9llJpFg-CzBYadLtggkg8r1RMzJlJdmFxnbSMFABn_ng2SygyLAAX_TPbusGgLXlDc/s640/blogger-image--1946724978.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTIBj1Fa0FW9tEuvxnk5pfvoyvcpCQVPL6hrwWk71GFt94JupjYl9q7MqnCrgAeh3PkrVkMREWMJ9llJpFg-CzBYadLtggkg8r1RMzJlJdmFxnbSMFABn_ng2SygyLAAX_TPbusGgLXlDc/s640/blogger-image--1946724978.jpg"></a></div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-51216578683775484592013-09-04T19:34:00.001-05:002013-09-04T19:34:00.118-05:00Monster plantsI planted 4 tomato plants this year. I haven't planted any for a long time. I tried 2 cherry tomato and 2 regular tomato. I read on Pinterest that mixing epsom salt into the soil or the water would be good for the plants. You be the judge. The cherry tomatoes just started ripening. I have a feeling we might have plenty!<div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2-3i8NZh5R3qNLM3YN8Ykt9-Nqsb44RSbW_M6J3yS3k-npiq1lxqKqraJwep32si5oBprwshqnbKvXH9FXzAEsSBbnb8HJ1Hd1aMzq2pQXaPYxH5TQFkKADN1t1TX_o5M9c89-0x2z-l2/s640/blogger-image-2032042476.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2-3i8NZh5R3qNLM3YN8Ykt9-Nqsb44RSbW_M6J3yS3k-npiq1lxqKqraJwep32si5oBprwshqnbKvXH9FXzAEsSBbnb8HJ1Hd1aMzq2pQXaPYxH5TQFkKADN1t1TX_o5M9c89-0x2z-l2/s640/blogger-image-2032042476.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-713598404992232892013-08-27T20:12:00.001-05:002013-08-27T20:12:44.699-05:00License platesOn our trip to Colorado we saw many different car plates. I could have watched and explored it for hours. There is just something special about seeing the water cascade down. Of course, I'm a rock person..love rocks of all sizes so I couldn't resist all the cool shots of rocks that I could take with my camera. . . . And no I did not take a rock sample home with me. I did buy some polished rocks at the visitor center though. The fan and waterfall was created in the 80's I think by a very large flood caused by snow melt. <br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5ZEMiBrVKjp8qSQc2G_1r5LX6NVfPec5f8CgEUv1jyIoEYf9mPeTJsV54-AEGSFIihBFYI_d67Tcb9Xcop_igXuc8a5iHHXp0VQ-MI7D17QuRpu_J97rzAqZWvxigqmiITG3Cjr5aXibP/s640/blogger-image-1344122810.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5ZEMiBrVKjp8qSQc2G_1r5LX6NVfPec5f8CgEUv1jyIoEYf9mPeTJsV54-AEGSFIihBFYI_d67Tcb9Xcop_igXuc8a5iHHXp0VQ-MI7D17QuRpu_J97rzAqZWvxigqmiITG3Cjr5aXibP/s640/blogger-image-1344122810.jpg"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih3L3ODWtOyT5qF_RPBj0YMVfqY0MajqJET1uFQjZY-t3by14wnajbYI6VoQZhN_3Bj0GRkM4BadC58jHq3-7aJPDWtkBNPKq_l7zE7a1An6iNoKWkZNvzDKA9I7utyzg7IOcJ8SJSAWEN/s640/blogger-image-1977184743.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih3L3ODWtOyT5qF_RPBj0YMVfqY0MajqJET1uFQjZY-t3by14wnajbYI6VoQZhN_3Bj0GRkM4BadC58jHq3-7aJPDWtkBNPKq_l7zE7a1An6iNoKWkZNvzDKA9I7utyzg7IOcJ8SJSAWEN/s640/blogger-image-1977184743.jpg"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQJOQp0XiackNGQPHhd1Ir7peXE_HdNxREli9Lcyq23WlvJ2Ws6auVMp1Pt9YLgyPA2LLyC551fZO8gyeIsQn08SjRhiP9fjIbn_k83lQ5uyw_q9YTEC9TD1zi5IrKFq0aaGmYEbRwxdx6/s640/blogger-image--2018991410.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQJOQp0XiackNGQPHhd1Ir7peXE_HdNxREli9Lcyq23WlvJ2Ws6auVMp1Pt9YLgyPA2LLyC551fZO8gyeIsQn08SjRhiP9fjIbn_k83lQ5uyw_q9YTEC9TD1zi5IrKFq0aaGmYEbRwxdx6/s640/blogger-image--2018991410.jpg"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEXtYTMLk3gackU39RnmIqNwiSVqyGGRHBV9As34q1nIzKsLd0pArkMq_0CdDU8YYX3G40EKLG0Fdq4-eFjjnMzyTLN1MiTdRl46DRGl9qtstNC6kCnHB2u9-bOJ0Ox_3cnt15yyEsuabc/s640/blogger-image-963890255.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEXtYTMLk3gackU39RnmIqNwiSVqyGGRHBV9As34q1nIzKsLd0pArkMq_0CdDU8YYX3G40EKLG0Fdq4-eFjjnMzyTLN1MiTdRl46DRGl9qtstNC6kCnHB2u9-bOJ0Ox_3cnt15yyEsuabc/s640/blogger-image-963890255.jpg"></a></div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-22433789312756660422013-08-25T13:25:00.001-05:002013-08-25T13:35:20.581-05:00There's No Place Like Home<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">It is always wonderful to get a way for a while. To see someplace different. But I always find that after I am away from home I seem to appreciate home a little more. The picture below was taken at Rocky Mountain National Park by Estes Colorado. It was so wonderfully scenic and beautiful. I enjoyed every moment....but then it was time to tap the ruby slippers and say, there's no place like home. Whether its a mountain , or the Oceanside, I will always savor the moments of relaxed realization of wonder I get from those places. But seeing the daily beauty The Lord has surrounded my life with is the true wonder. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqYJKOfAecnZM2og0mEUfelTpI1Sl8jN3d_jeoVMUAaYdZ-fdXcsuqPHJsbyzPh9jSHZfHYCMW3SlKWUNLSteGRdYyHCyi39cZxcC6HiqtKPr4XnUe2K5pYja0W6CgQyG_YTmZUYrKN5JN/s640/blogger-image-2054319723.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqYJKOfAecnZM2og0mEUfelTpI1Sl8jN3d_jeoVMUAaYdZ-fdXcsuqPHJsbyzPh9jSHZfHYCMW3SlKWUNLSteGRdYyHCyi39cZxcC6HiqtKPr4XnUe2K5pYja0W6CgQyG_YTmZUYrKN5JN/s640/blogger-image-2054319723.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJn1DtvgGz3F3NCQQ7ky7Bsgk9dKVwTGq_wsO4Pt3s54jK0jYU32x5xR7ITYqtx1K_Ol6jasfAsnE0hs4XzMQeYcUIZnaWXALLXer5ToIQ7NLfJ5vaH5C9B-Ms8g_MAdXyHIvdUfU3oyvQ/s640/blogger-image-352562379.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJn1DtvgGz3F3NCQQ7ky7Bsgk9dKVwTGq_wsO4Pt3s54jK0jYU32x5xR7ITYqtx1K_Ol6jasfAsnE0hs4XzMQeYcUIZnaWXALLXer5ToIQ7NLfJ5vaH5C9B-Ms8g_MAdXyHIvdUfU3oyvQ/s640/blogger-image-352562379.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpOwoLGGiyyKqWxkG-QfrO5zHCQ8pRuWVn3tJ5ayaSjfvYVcdtE_c-A0Ib_XIBCLaNBSY5ZrDvDyaLoT7A-amzleqhiN5jzwCrV7N8jfSru5AaEyZgUKPMJTOUUl2xTu9KINbeRNr7aYjP/s640/blogger-image-1339082651.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpOwoLGGiyyKqWxkG-QfrO5zHCQ8pRuWVn3tJ5ayaSjfvYVcdtE_c-A0Ib_XIBCLaNBSY5ZrDvDyaLoT7A-amzleqhiN5jzwCrV7N8jfSru5AaEyZgUKPMJTOUUl2xTu9KINbeRNr7aYjP/s640/blogger-image-1339082651.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJN1Co29_cT-Q2PLsL442dKRFvSYSmZuV5ayaJC0VkmjOwUcsCHmktQAmpJuGuSzZ0FjJxgwL4va09nLHkwI0epG2MGyEjjsdfpzj6ljn99t2ljx3VZUGMBhZT96IZKF6leCqU-WO9PFyr/s640/blogger-image-1107224137.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJN1Co29_cT-Q2PLsL442dKRFvSYSmZuV5ayaJC0VkmjOwUcsCHmktQAmpJuGuSzZ0FjJxgwL4va09nLHkwI0epG2MGyEjjsdfpzj6ljn99t2ljx3VZUGMBhZT96IZKF6leCqU-WO9PFyr/s640/blogger-image-1107224137.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-3802650679949681932013-08-20T23:35:00.001-05:002013-08-20T23:36:13.324-05:00Rose<div>In My World...rose for Mary.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSLqelY1dl_JKvHiaOQc5JTxCqS6rwh8C1mIqpubHtd0XOEz4lHhZ0wX_lfs5YDZ-wOYNS8ngwi15VMg1iznb5PCW-v4cM2MH3A8zJvt5p21NpycAqrQsC-lWQo1IbL8Cmy55MoIFXRbRv/s640/blogger-image--667486913.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSLqelY1dl_JKvHiaOQc5JTxCqS6rwh8C1mIqpubHtd0XOEz4lHhZ0wX_lfs5YDZ-wOYNS8ngwi15VMg1iznb5PCW-v4cM2MH3A8zJvt5p21NpycAqrQsC-lWQo1IbL8Cmy55MoIFXRbRv/s640/blogger-image--667486913.jpg"></a></div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-27183821685490074992013-08-20T11:15:00.001-05:002013-08-20T11:15:15.374-05:00Rocky Mountain HighRecently I went on a trip to Colorado with my daughter Amber, and two of her children Kaiya and Ezra. <div>I learned several lessons along the way. #1. Kaiya is in charge. This little dynamo will definitely be a leader when she grows up because she will take on just about anything. Kaiya (age 3) was a great helper in the back seat when Ezra (10 months) needed entertainment. She also felt she had the power to rename the mountains on the drive to Estes..they were not mountains, they were fish. Amazing confidence I would say...lol. However, when we arrived at Estes she too was amazed at the "mountains". Each day we went outside she would say "look, I found mountains". Again, that confidence came through, SHE found the mountains!...lesson #2 next post.<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhKx2SUXtP-0NoK-E2tkmWyHMKEBAQix5paOl_mTGJm7OQuseu0-FetS8bfQ4nNrL80AMdY6V9FCXLOwtbzE3JyCcEo_lMemTjd3FtRg1V0Aft283DodNPYGqdkww7Nj0hIQKJ_QkRZtkM/s640/blogger-image--1794883669.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhKx2SUXtP-0NoK-E2tkmWyHMKEBAQix5paOl_mTGJm7OQuseu0-FetS8bfQ4nNrL80AMdY6V9FCXLOwtbzE3JyCcEo_lMemTjd3FtRg1V0Aft283DodNPYGqdkww7Nj0hIQKJ_QkRZtkM/s640/blogger-image--1794883669.jpg"></a></div></div>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-18360366563350026622013-08-20T08:14:00.001-05:002013-08-20T08:14:29.845-05:00I'm back<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkdUTi1yuds8M4YTOjGNLj81yZQ1TF9ChMjGueX6f9JnZO3ghSVm59-gDwGaRwL-BC2Pc6LaZaNfDIqcGKI0uxxBPy5-uaA4KYtCOoeWWbn0qRJsCyNv9nq_gv-0GdY8UU7pX_BddgxbnL/s640/blogger-image--567442879.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkdUTi1yuds8M4YTOjGNLj81yZQ1TF9ChMjGueX6f9JnZO3ghSVm59-gDwGaRwL-BC2Pc6LaZaNfDIqcGKI0uxxBPy5-uaA4KYtCOoeWWbn0qRJsCyNv9nq_gv-0GdY8UU7pX_BddgxbnL/s640/blogger-image--567442879.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Well hello world, I'm going to try my blogging again. Our cat Riley could be the star in the book...a Tail of Two Kitties, he would be the evil cat in the story. Notice the spin off of ...ATale of Two Cities. We are still, after over a year of having a cat and dog in the house...still trying to get Riley to accept our dog. He is just outright stalking the poor dog. <br />
<br />
I haven't been posting much. Just kinda of got lost in all the things happening in life. Some good, some just busy things. I'm hoping to be a little better with my blog. <br />
<br />
I'm looking forward to the boutique that my quilt friends and I are having..we have been putting in a lot of extra sewing time. I hope to post some pics soon of some of the items I've made.<br />
<br />
My goal every day is to head to bed sooner, but lets face it, I'm a night owl. I think I take after my great Aunt Elizabeth, one of my fav aunts. I remember getting letters from her saying, well, it's time I sign off now, it's 1am in the morn. I thought wow, she stays up late...well so do I now! Haha.<br />
<br />
Great news is the addition of our Grandson, ,born a month premature, but doing great. His name is Ezra Leo......middle name from his Great Grandpa. <br />
<br />
Well. More later.Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-11359992000635859512012-07-20T09:45:00.000-05:002012-07-20T09:45:41.111-05:00When the World Sees Red<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

A time or place that doesn't really exist or belong to you. A place for gentle tranquility to relax and enjoy. I envision a lovely garden respite, with a hammock or swing in the sun or shade depending on what is needed. The sight and scent of flowers dressing up the garden for you to enjoy. An interesting book in hand that wraps your mind with the story, making you not want to stop reading. Off to the edge of the lovely garden is a beach of glistening sand and gentle waves calling you to come and wet your feet, walking along the edge with the waves slapping and tickeling your toes. A place to listen to the birds calling back to the waves, luring you mind and body into a place where you can think only about the loveliness of the day...that is what I am homesick for....but in my mind I go there ...I am there now..<strike></strike>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-75388348111448458962012-06-11T22:06:00.001-05:002012-06-11T22:06:26.071-05:00I am so frustrated with trying to use my iPad to post on my blog. I can't get pics I have taken to post , and I can't get linked photos to post. I love the convenience of my iPad for most things, but it sure has disrupted my blogging. I seldom turn on my regular computer any more. So..I guess I need to figure out how to be more creative with my blogging.<strike><strike></strike></strike>Bernyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18250684898460094916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3096750185309678298.post-32118716275914492252012-05-01T23:04:00.000-05:002012-05-01T23:04:19.750-05:00Recently I received a list called a Bucket list by email from a friend. <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So our dog , Johnny Cash is approaching his 1st birthday in May. In dog years I think that means he's 7 years old. Easier for me to think of him as 1 year old. Life with Cash, as we call him is definitely a lot more active. Here are some of his favs:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1. Any squeaky toy...but his fav squeaky toy is his little brown football (we have 3 of the same toy) luckily only 1 of them still squeak. If this toy is missing, he is as excited as a little kid with a new toy when it is found.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2. His favorite outdoor toy is an old brown basketball that the girls used to play with. He loves it when I kick it and he chases it down. He will play with this ball by himself also.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
3. His Number 1 favorite of anything is....believe this or not, ROCKS...he loves to dig them up, carry them, lick them, throw them, run after them, anything to do with rocks...he loves. Sometimes he sneaks them into the house. He refuses to put the rock down before coming in the house. Funny dog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
4. We always joke that Chelsee is his puppy...the person he loves to play with most. He is absolutely overjoyed when she comes home from college. When she leaves he will stand at the top of the stairs and looks out the window and cry...a real low moan...like this...."moe moe...moe moe ...wooo wooooo...it is so sad and touching.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cash's Bad Habits...I don't think I can list all of them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
the ones that drive me crazy the most are...licking, slobbering...smelling ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cash brings us a lot of fun and joy, he is a great companion for walks, and I can tell him absolutely anything, and he does not judge me, or mock me. He will mostly listen with those wonderful brown eyes of his. He will even give a hug (which Chelsee taught him) when you need one. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will have to say that Cash is a super intelligent dog. He was very easily house trained. NEVER messes in his kennel...we always take him out of the kennel for that. Probably the biggest nemesis in his life is our housecat Riley. They absolutely HATE each other. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Well, I'm so happy and glad to say that a dream of mine and theirs became a reality. We headed to Orlando in January. Amber, Alexa & <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Kaiya</span>, Kristin, <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">Chelsee</span>, and myself.
